Greenwich Mental Health Hub

As part of the Community Mental Health Transformation work in Greenwich, BLG Mind and Bridge Support are working in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to develop services to operate as a front-door to mental health support as well as a step-down support for people ready for discharge from secondary care. 

This work aims to:

  • Deliver support across both Primary and Secondary Care;
  • Ensure there is no ‘wrong door’ into mental health support for those who need it and make it easier to access the right support at the right time;
  • Provide support that focuses on both clinical and social needs;
  • Work well as a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a new role which will support the VSS Manager to drive forward the vision of the project during this key stage in project development. The successful candidate will be required to manage voluntary sector staff working from Bridge and BLG Mind across the mental health advisory and other work streams as needed, and deputise for the VSS Manager as and when appropriate.

We are looking for a confident manager with strong partnership working and project development skills. Experience of supporting people with mental health problems will be important in this role as will a good understanding of current mental health provision.  You will be a key person in maintaining quality within service delivery and maintaining clear communication and representation with clinical teams and partners.
