At our Recovery College we support personal recovery through learning achievement and we have an exciting opportunity for a senior tutor, ideally with extensive experience of working with people who have multiple barriers to learning, to join our experienced and friendly team.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for co-designing, planning and delivering educational activities that promote positive mental health and wellbeing. The sessions and courses will be for adults with lived experience of mental ill health, their friends, families and mental health practitioners.

Courses will be developed and delivered with a peer trainer, someone with lived experiences of mental ill health.

 You will also provide appropriate learner feedback and support and educational advice and information where necessary, and will be required to create an appropriate and welcoming atmosphere for learners.

An Adult Teaching Training qualification is desirable however, support towards an Adult Teaching qualification can be provided for the right candidate.

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5hrs per week (Monday – Friday)

Location: Exact details are still to be confirmed but you will be based in Woolwich with an  element of hybrid working.
