Bridge Support began in 1986 and has grown into the main service provider for mental health in the Royal Borough of Greenwich with a current workforce of 250+ staff. We work with several strategically selected partners to support people with long-term mental health problems by providing the framework they need to work towards independent living. Our aim is for every person to be able to enjoy the freedoms, opportunities, and pleasures that most people take for granted.

SEL Mind supports people with mental health problems and dementia in the boroughs of Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Role Overview

This role will work as part of an integrated team with Bridge, Southeast London (SEL) Mind and Oxleas NHS Trust.

Bromley, Lewisham , Lambert  Greenwich, Southwark  Mind and Bridge Support are working in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Greenwich Mental Health Hub (GMHH). This will form part of the new transformation of mental health services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich under the NHS Long Term Plan. The service will bring together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic, and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.

You will draw on your personal experiences and good communication skills to coordinate and deliver recovery-orientated peer support to people with long-term mental health problems. This support will enable individuals to access community groups, attend appointments, and generally get them more involved in the community.

You will use your own lived experience to support you to build good rapport with your clients and ensure your approach is meaningful. You will need to be organised, resilient and empathetic in supporting clients to achieve their goals.
